Dr. Simón Pardiñas López participated as a speaker at the 3rd Annual World Congress of Oral and Dental Medicine (CODM-2016), held from November 18th to 20th in the Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung. CODM-2016 aims to attract strategies for managing prevention and control of oral diseases and to hear the latest from the most prestigious researchers in this area. Dentists, oral specialists, pathologists, dermatologists and dental hygienists participated in an extensive program focused on oral diseases and their treatment, in clinical dentistry and in social dentistry.
Dr. Pardiñas López attended the numerous dental conferences of the congress and also had the opportunity to share his knowledge imparting the lecture: “Which is the best graft for bone augmentation? Are the use of growth factors effective". This lecture focused on the most effective materials and procedures for bone augmentation and on the importance of using growth factors to improve tissue regeneration processes. Dr. Pardiñas López was one of the 2 Spanish representatives at the congress, so he also took advantage of his conference to make A Coruña and Galicia known internationally.
