Dr. Pardiñas López attended to the 11th International Symposium on Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry wich took place in Boston on June 6-9th 2013. The first meeting was held in 1983, and greeted colleagues from around the world. It provided an opportunity to share new treatment regimes and, more importantly, to identify the need for continued investigations to support emerging procedures. Even now in 2013, the idea is looking forward not only to sharing ideas and results of contemporary research but also to the translation of this information into improved patient care.
This symposium once again was a joint endeavor between the Quintessence International Publishing Group, publisher of the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and the American Academy of Periodontology. 85 of the profession’s most renowned clinicians and researchers were selected to construct valuable panels, presentations, and discussions that lead to optimal outcomes. Topics discussed included periodontics, implants, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
