Dr. Pardiñas López attended last April 19th to the meeting of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists held in New York. This meeting covered topics like the relationship of diabetes with the periodontal disease as well as the latest guidelines for treatment and management of these patients. Topics on physiology, pathology and anatomy of the maxillary sinus in relation to implantology were also discussed.
During the lunch break took place a tribute to the late Dr. Robert Schoor, director of the Periodontics Program at New York University and past president of the American Academy of Periodontology.
