Dr. Simón Pardiñas López is an adjunct professor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at New York University since November 2024. This opportunity comes after years of training and work at the highest level.
Dr. Pardiñas and his close relationship with New York
As soon as he finished his degree in Dentistry at the Alfonso X el Sabio in Madrid, he moved to New York, where he completed an Advanced Program in Oral Surgery at the New York University College of Dentistry. Fourteen years later, Dr. Pardiñas returns to that same faculty, but this time as an associate professor in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Pardiñas connection with that university goes further, he also completed an Advanced Program in Periodontics between 2012 and 2013. In 2016, together with other colleagues, he published the clinical book “Evidence Based Implant Dentistry” that was presented at NYU. Similarly, he spent six months as a researcher at the Bluestone Center for Clinical Research from the same center in 2018 as part of his PhD program.
In addition to receiving training at this university, Dr. Simón Pardiñas has also had the opportunity to lecture there. In these years he has given several conferences on surgery and implantology and more recently on communication and social media in dentistry, taking advantage of his experience with Dentalk, our dental channel.

Beyond his relation with the New York university, the doctor from A Coruña has had the opportunity to be trained in Spain and other places around the world. He has had experiences at the European School of Oral Rehabilitation, Implantology and Biomaterials, at the Complutense University (Madrid), at the Interdisciplinary Dental Education Academy (California), at the University of Toulouse or at the Global Institute for Dental Education (Los Angeles), among others.
